Happy Birthday Little Man!!!!!

Happy Birthday Rece!!
I can't believe how fast these 2 years have gone! I remember SO vividly 2 years ago. Right now I was in the hospital bed with a waiting room full of visitors just waiting for you to make your grand entrance. Little did we know we had another almost 10 hours to go! I know, always at your pace. And just 2 short years later you are in your bedroom "taking a nap" calling out mama. What a difference a couple years make. It is so bittersweet. I love watching you grow and discovering new things and learning every day something that surprises me. You keep me on my toes and keep me guessing every day. But it is so sad to think that you will never be this little again. And it will be all too soon that you won't freely give me kisses and that you aren't calling for mama from your crib. I love staying home with you and I would never do anything differently. Soon you will be a big brother and I know you will be a wonderful big brother. Just know that no matter how much attention the baby gets, it will never take away from the love I have for you. I know you will have your jealous moments, but I also know that you are going to be kissing that baby like crazy and that is something I can't wait to see.
I know you won't remember this birthday but I hope that all the pictures I take of you and all of this writing and scrapbooking that I do will someday mean something to you and you can look back and "remember" it through pictures and words. So far we have had a wonderful day and it is only half way over. Your party will be so much fun, you have so many friends and family coming to see you celebrate. I love you with all of my heart and am so excited to see you explore through the next year!

Rece woke up about about 7:25 this morning and I went in to get him and sang Happy Birthday. Grammy was still here but unfortunately daddy had already left for work. Daddy called later and sang to him. He woke up with 2 balloons in his room and his gift from Grammy was all set up in the living room. So he walked out and got to play with it right away. Later we will be going to dinner and then when we get home he will open gifts from mommy and daddy!

WooHoo, we got our new car last night!! We got a 2007 Pilot and we are very excited about it. Rece doesn't appear to be very excited about it in this picture, but he does really like sitting higher and in the center. However he won't be in the center once the baby is here. It just isn't very easy to get him in and out of the center.

Bittersweet

These pictures were taken at my mom's house. This was officially her last day in the house. It has been a crazy few weeks, but she is now moved out. It is sad for me to think that another family is living in the house that I grew up in from the time I was 1, but it was for the better. It doesn't really make it any easier. The second picture is his new cheese face. Or his cheesy smile. He didn't get that from me, it must be daddy.

But, in good news, WE WILL BE GETTING A NEW CAR this weekend! We are very excited!

And lately, like the last 3 or 4 days, Rece has been telling us that he needs his diaper changed a lot! It isn't everytime, but it is poo and pee. I am sure it is just a phase, but it is some sign that he doesn't want to be sitting in it.

Happy 10 year (dating) anniversary to Mommy and Daddy (yesterday)!!!!!!!

I can't believe that we have been together for 10 years...a whole decade!! That is just crazy. I love you Tony!!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, our basement is finally finished!!!! Here are some pictures of it. The rooms are still empty and the telephone and cable still needs to be hooked up but you get the idea!!! The first picture is of what we still have left of the unfinished basement. We have plenty of storage really but it has all the junk from the other 3 rooms in it. But anyway this is what the whole basment looked like before we started on this massive project. Grandpa Rocky helped out a lot and we thank him.





















This room is mommy's room. It will be used as a guest bedroom and mommy's scrapbooking and gift wrapping room!!!!! YAY for mommy










These two pictures are of my playroom!!!! There is also a chalkboard wall, but it is just a black wall...not really worth a picture. Also, mommy is going to put my handprints along with all my friends' handprints on one wall also! Finally all the toys can be moved down here!!




This is daddy's Ohio State room(Go Bucks!!!). It is going to be used for another family room basically and this will be where mommy and daddy workout!

Alright all you blog people: This is going to be a little bit of a sales pitch! I have started selling BeautiControl products. It is similar to Mary Kay or the like but it focuses more on skin care and spa treatments, but also does have make-up. I am not actively selling it by having spa parties, I joined for my own benefit, but if I can make a little extra money, why not? They really do have some great products. It really works. It doesn't not make them disappear but it makes them significantly less noticeable!!!! There is a reason...

That we haven't posted in a while! Our computer had a virus!!!! That is terrible. Luckily my brother was able to save the most important thing on this computer....pictures of Rece!!!!!! I didn't think however of a few other things, like the baby album I kept on the computer. Oh well at least I have a regular baby book of him. There were just a lot of things about his first holidays that I didn't write down elsewhere! My brother had to totally erase everything and start over basically. I guess things happen. I will post pictures when I get them back on my computer.
