No, Really

So, mommy is officially no longer a milk bar. She really stopped nursing me on Friday. No tears on either part. Mommy did really good and was really ready this time and I was ready too. When daddy got me up on Saturday I was slightly grumpy when he was changing my clothes but after that I was fine. And on Sunday nothing!
Official breastfeeding time: 1 year 2 months 1 day!!!

THINGS CHANGE!

Well, weaning was much harder than I thought it would be(on me). Yeah, Rece screamed in the morning and he was fussy all day, but he probably would have gotten over it in the next few days. However, I knew it would be hard and I would probably cry, but I think I should have been crying because it was sad that it was over, not wondering if I did the right thing. So this morning Rece nursed again! And I am much happier about that decision and so is he! I am not going to put a time limit on it. When I am ready I will be done. Until then Rece will still be boobyfed!

Moving On...

Although I really am ready, it is still very sad for me! I am no longer a living milkbar! This morning was Rece's last nursing. I really am ready to move on and hopefully be pregnant soon, but breastfeeding was such a strong bond and Rece loved it, although in the beginning I would have guessed differently! So officially I breastfed for 1 Year 2 weeks and 4 days! I know I will do it again with the next one for at least as long, but I am very sad that this is over with Rece!

7 Months old today!

I get bigger and stronger every day! Every day is exciting with me now. I shake my rattles now, because I actually understand what is happening when I do it. I look for things when you take them away from me or drop them. I even start to fuss sometimes when you take something away! I am doing great sleeping through the night now. I go to bed by 8:00 and wake up around 6:30 and fuss or go back to sleep until about 7! I have gotten down to only nursing 4 times a day and eating 3 good meals! I have tried bananas now too and really like them. We are still working on the peaches...I like to spit those out.
